Now, I am the first to admit that the Forums here at GEN aren't exactly buzzing with activity but I would still like to incorporate Moderators here.
But, whereas before I would just put people into those roles (cheeky I know) this time I am asking/begging for volunteers.
If you have the time and the inclination to Moderate and encourage postings then let me know by responding to this post.
Take a look at the Forums and let me know which one(a) you would like to focus on and I'll see what I can do.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Yep, Celebration Japan has now come to an end and the folks at Rebelscum and Star Wars.Com are packing up and heading home but not before they make a few more posts on the subject:
Chances are if you attended Celebration Japan, you got to climb onto the full-size dewback created by Japanese Garrison member Goro Inoue and his dedicated crew which include Kayo Saeki, Ruriko Tsutsumi, Yayoi Negishi, Otoe Takahashi, Jun Agata, Daisuke Togami, Takatoshi Makiuchi, Masaaki Fukada, Kakuyuki Yamazaki, Hiroshi Shounai, Keisuke Aiso, and Masaru Sato.
Walking past the dewback, I spied everyone from little kids and their parents, to fans dressed as Princess Leia and Obi-Wan Kenobi, among others. The dewback always had a long of people eager to get the photo op of a lifetime.
I chatted with Goro about his fantastic creation, and what prompted him to donate his blood, sweat and money to The Dewback Project...
Celebration Japan: The Dewback Project
It's back! Celebration Japan was a blast! The Rebelscum team is now packing up our gear and heading back to North America, where we'll soon be desending upon California for San Diego Comic Con! (Yes, this means I'm going to be doing this all over again!) So now that the bulk of the reporting from the show is done (although there are still a LOT of galleries, podcasts, videos, and special reports that are coming!), I'm bringing back the updates with a few personal stories that you may find interesting. (Or you may not...but my family does, so there!)...

This is Lancashire have an interview with the one and only Charles Ross:
ONE man's misspent youth is another's springboard to stardom. We spoke to Canadian actor Charles Ross who spent much of his childhood in a galaxy far, far away, watching Star Wars videos.
He's bringing his hilarious show, One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, to Blackpool Grand Theatre on Sunday, July 27.
When did you first become interested in Star Wars?
When I was a child I lived on a farm in Prince George, a northern part of Canada. We had long winters where it would drop down to maybe -40C and it was very cold for seven or eight months of the year. Because of that, you spent a lot of time indoors and we had no television reception, so you had to watch what you had on video on your VCR. We only had three movies: The Blue Lagoon starring Brooke Shields, Shogun and Star Wars — so nine times out of 10, I ended up watching Star Wars. A lot of times, it would just be on as background noise, and I would think that a lot of it has gone into my head through osmosis and become committed to my memory. And what do you do with that useless piece of information? That was something no one should do to themselves unless you intend to do something positive with it eventually – and so I have!
How did you come to turn your knowledge of Star Wars into a one-man show?
I’ve got a degree in theatre with an acting specialisation, but actors are often out of work, so I wanted to do my own one-man show to get a bit of autonomy in my career. One-Man Star Wars Trilogy started life as a comedy sketch, but then my director TJ Dawe and I turned it into a one-hour piece. It went down really well when I performed it at a fringe event in Toronto — and everything’s gone on from there.
There's still time to catch Charles on Tour but time is running out my friends, catch it before its too late.

Gametrailers.com are back with part seven of there retrospective into the games of Star Wars.
This episode takes a look at Shadows of the Empire, and Knights of the Old Republic, which unless you've been asleep for the last 10 years is one of the most original and compelling stories/games produced under the Star Wars moniker.
Lets hope they get a move on with KOTOR 3, which is rumored to be a World of Warcraft beating MMORPG.
Enjoy

Not quite the fearful statement from Cpt. Tarpals in The Phantom Menace but a grouchy David Baldwin from METRO who has a strange way of publicising events:
You'd think that three paper-thin sequels would have finally sullied the Star Wars franchise. But no, far from it. Star Wars is still held in mythical regard, and woe betide anyone who questions it.
We only mention this because the One Man Star Wars Trilogy comes to the Lichfield this weekend. Starring Charles Ross, the show has been touring for a long time, thanks mainly to the sci-fi faithful. Ross himself maintains that by the age of ten, he'd seen the film 400 times (suggesting some very lenient parents), which made cramming the films into 60 minutes some achievement.
Camp robots, incestuous kisses, TIE fighter sound-effects; the man does it all himself. In fact, that's probably the only genuine legacy of Star Wars - the undying love its fanbase has for it. Well, apart from the Ewoks.
Don't you get the feeling here's one man who never got the Star Wars toy he really, really wanted for Christmas as a kid?

Why does everyone like Star Wars?

Now THIS is something I'll be eager to get to grips with as, alas, having had to sell my PS3, it is the only way I'll get to play it:
You want an iPhone app? We'll give you an iPhone app. Take a look at Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the iPhone which uses the accelerometer for game play. It should be available in September but we have some cool video over at CrunchGear. Peter Ha writes:
"As far as we know and to THQ Wireless' knowledge we're the first with any sort of footage for the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and here it is for all of you readers. It's a very cool game and an ingenious way of using the touchscreen. The accelerometer is only used to switch gameplay from landscape to portrait at any time. It's still a work in progress and won't be released until September 16, but we didn't notice any glitches. I can say without a doubt that this is going to be a hot, hot game for the iPhone/iPod platform. I'm frothing at the bit."
He's not the only one!
